Known from the Kemp Welsh River (about 100 km east of Port Moresby) and Fly system. Generally found in lowland areas, but also occurs in upland habitats such as the Sogeri Plateau near Port Moresby. In the Fly system, it penetrates well inland at least to about 930 km upstream from the mouth. Also Ref. 6993, 13533. |
